Law Library Circulation

Circulation

The UALR/Pulaski County Law Library is a research library. Books in the collection must be available for immediate use. Most books do not circulate. However we do have a limited circulation policy. The circulation desk phone number is 501-324-9444.

Circulation Privileges

UALR law students, Pulaski County judges and Pulaski County attorneys may check out circulating materials for two weeks. Attorneys not in commuting distance must receive permission from a librarian. Materials may be renewed for an additional two weeks in person or by phone.

Associate patrons, who are faculty, staff or students of other University of Arkansas system schools, have book borrowing privileges if they have letters of good standing from their library on file at our Circulation Desk. Associate patrons have the same book borrowing privileges as UALR law students

UALR law students, Pulaski County judges, Pulaski County attorneys and associate patrons may check out reserve hornbooks and nutshells overnight one hour before the library closes. They are due two hours after the library opens on weekdays and one hour after the library opens on weekends.

Persons other than full time law faculty, law students, Pulaski County judges, Pulaski County attorneys and associate patrons may not check out materials. In some circumstances a librarian may grant special permission.
